Gentle Yoga, Sound & Vibration
Friday night event: 7h to 8h30 pm
Sept 12 – Oct 10 – Nov 14
Fall 2025
A sound and vibration workshop with gentle yoga, mantras, mudras and singing bowls is an invitation to relaxation, self-discovery, and holistic well-being.
After the gentle stretching of the body, participants will be invited to sit or lie down comfortably. With the use of mallets, the practitioner will make the bowls sing or induce a gentle drumming rythm. The sounds and vibrations spread throughout the space and the body, will create an immersive sensory experience. In each workshop we will explore a new mudra (hand gesture) and experience different mantra chanting.
It’s a unique experience to improve quality of life and promote a harmonious balance between body and mind.

Singing bowls, often of Tibetan origin, are musical instruments made from 7 metals such as copper, tin, iron, mercury, silver, lead, and gold, each with a specific resonance. Their sound and vibrations are used to massage the body, relax muscles, release tension, and promote energy flow. They can be used specifically to relieve specific pain or more generally to induce a state of deep relaxation, similar to meditation.
Mantras are sacred syllables, words, or phrases chanted to promote concentration, relaxation, and spiritual transformation. Repetition can help calm the brain, center the mind and connect with a more subtle energy.
